Nasci no Porto, cresci a observar o mundo como se cada detalhe tivesse um significado escondido — e nunca parei.
A fotografia entrou na minha vida pelo meu pai, o "paparazzi oficial" da família.
Fiz curso de Relações Internacionais porque amava pessoas e histórias.
Fui educadora perinatal, geri negócios, trabalhei em corporate. Reinventei-me mais do que uma vez.
A dado momento, com dois filhos e a certeza de que algo não encaixava, larguei a segurança e apostei no que sempre me fez vibrar: fotografar a vida como ela realmente é.
Hoje, o meu trabalho vive em três espaços: Sofia Martin Photography, onde documento famílias e ensinoo a arte de contar histórias visuais. Honest Frame Magazine, onde escrevo sobre fotografia, wellbeing e vida honesta. E Art Alchemy Studio, onde crio ferramentas digitais para fotógrafos e criativos.
A filosofia é sempre a mesma: ver com clareza, viver com autenticidade, criar com alma.

I was born in Porto, and I grew up observing the world as if every detail had a hidden meaning—and I never stopped.
Photography entered my life through my father, the family's "official paparazzi."
I studied International Relations because I loved people and stories. I was a perinatal educator, managed businesses, and worked in corporate. I reinvented myself more than once.
At a certain point, with two children and the certainty that something wasn't quite right, I left the security and bet on what always made me vibrate: photographing life as it really is.
Today, my work lives in three spaces: Sofia Martin Photography, where I document families and teach the art of visual storytelling; Honest Frame Magazine, where I write about photography, well-being, and honest living; and Art Alchemy Studio, where I create digital tools for photographers and creatives.
The philosophy is always the same: see clearly, live authentically, create with soul.
